Check Cashing
Ohio Catholic is here for all your check cashing needs. The fees associated with cashing checks at the credit union are generally less than if you went to a payday check cashing institution. All funds from checks are subject to our funds availability policy. See Funds Availability Policy.
Members and Check Cashing
The standard fee for any member to cash a check is 5% of the value of the check up. If you have at least $500 in savings, the fee is waived. See Fee Schedule.
Nonmembers and Check Cashing
Non-members can cash a check written on a member’s account for a fee. See Fee Schedule.
Member Business Accounts and Check Cashing
All checks for business accounts must be deposited into that business’ accounts. Once the hold period passes, withdrawals on these funds can be made. Checks for a business account cannot be cashed outright.
