Money Orders

Money orders provide a means of safe, fast, and convenient transmission of small sums of money. Money orders may be purchased with cash, a withdrawal from an Ohio Catholic account, travelers’ checks,  VISA debit card, or by taking a cash advance on a VISA credit card.

Money Orders

  • Money Orders have a $1,000 maximum limit
  • The Payee may be left blank when purchasing
  • Nominal fee may apply - see Fee Schedule
  • More secure payment method than a personal check
  • Available at all branch locations

Smart Money Tip – Fill out the Payee on money orders immediately so it cannot be cashed by others if lost.  Write your account number with the company to which you are sending the money order and include any other important identifying information.

Smart Money Tip Keep your receipt in case the money order is lost or the recipient denies receiving it.  This receipt has a tracking number to check on the status should problems arise.
