Ohio Catholic FCU Awards $42,000 In Catholic School Tuition Scholarships

For the fifth straight year, Ohio Catholic FCU demonstrated its commitment to Catholic education by awarding $42,000 in tuition scholarships to students enrolled in Catholic schools throughout the State of Ohio.  Since beginning its Catholic School Scholarship Program in 2013, Ohio Catholic FCU has awarded more than $175,000 in tuition scholarships.

“We are very pleased to be able to support families making the financial sacrifice to send their children to Catholic schools,” notes Mike Wisnor, Vice President of Marketing & Mission for Ohio Catholic FCU.

In addition to providing tuition scholarships for students, Ohio Catholic FCU also supports Catholic education by offering grants directly to Catholic schools.  In 2017, Ohio Catholic FCU will award $50,000 in grants to help schools improve facilities, technology, curriculum, and extra-curricular offerings.

As a faith-based, financial service organization, Ohio Catholic FCU tithes 10% of its net income and donates it back to the Catholic communities where its members live, work, and pray.  In addition to its strong support of Catholic education, Ohio Catholic FCU also donates to parishes, Catholic non-profit organizations, and various outreach ministries.  In 2017, Ohio Catholic FCU has committed to donating more than $150,000 back to the Catholic community.
