Ohio Catholic FCU is partnering with the Knights of Columbus Father Ragan Council 3269 to sponsor a bus trip to the March for Life in Washington, D.C. The March for Life is scheduled for January 19, 2018.
We will depart from the Knights of Columbus Ragan Council 3269 located at 1783 Moore Road, Avon, Ohio, Thursday evening, January 18, and will travel through the night. We will arrive in Washington, D.C. in time for morning mass at The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. After mass, there will be time to have breakfast at the cafeteria and tour the 70 Shrines located within the National Basilica (https://washington.org/dc-guide-to/basilica-national-shrine-immaculate-conception-washington-dc).
The bus will then pick us up from the National Basilica and transport us to the Washington Monument for the March for Life. We will listen to a series of speakers and then march from the Washington Monument to the steps of the Supreme Court. The bus will then depart from Washington, D.C. that afternoon to take us back to Avon, Ohio. We will stop for dinner and make at least one other pit stop on the way back home to Ohio, arriving between 11:00 p.m. and midnight on Friday, January 19.
Registrants through Ohio Catholic Federal Credit Union pay just $25 for the trip, which includes a March for Life scarf and a snack bag for the trip. We will be traveling on a chartered tour bus with a restroom on board. Also, you are welcome to leave your car in the parking lot at the Knights of Columbus and it is monitored by the Avon police.
